1. The service. CaseFile AI is a software tool for legal information, document intelligence and drafting preparation. It is not a law firm, does not practise law, and does not provide legal advice or representation. Nothing in the service creates an advocate–client relationship with us.
2. Who may use it. Adults acting for themselves or for an organisation. Advocates use it as a tool in their own practice; the professional responsibility for any document filed or served remains with the enrolled advocate.
3. Your content. You keep all rights in what you upload. You grant us the licence needed to process it to provide the service. You confirm you are entitled to upload it and that it does not include investigation records or other material you are not permitted to share.
4. Prohibited use. Uploading confidential investigation material; using output to evade law, fabricate or alter evidence, coach witnesses, or backdate documents; attempting to access another organisation's data; reverse-engineering the service. The product refuses such requests and we may suspend accounts.
5. AI output. Output may be inaccurate or incomplete. It is provided for review by a qualified advocate. You are responsible for verifying it before reliance, filing or service.
6. No fee-sharing, no referrals. We do not share fees with advocates and do not pay or receive referral fees for legal work. [LEGAL REVIEW — BCI]
7. Fees. During the pilot the service is provided on the terms agreed in writing with each pilot participant.
8. Availability and changes. We may change or withdraw features. We aim for continuity but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
9. Liability. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the preceding three months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for decisions taken on AI output without advocate review. 10. Termination. You may stop using the service and delete your data at any time. We may suspend for breach of §4.
